Study Skills and Strategies
This is another great website full of learning strategies.  It's divided into areas such as cooperative learning, motivation, critical thinking, note taking, test preparation, monitoring and many more. We can never have too many strategies to choose from when working with our diverse student needs. I think you'll use this site a lot.

Word Walls
Word Walls are a critical component to any subject area.  Vocabulary is the key to unlocking any content area material.  This page discusses the use of word walls at the secondary level and gives a pre-unit, during unit, and post-unit activity to use with the word wall.  You will find it an excellent way to boost your student's content area literacy.

Accommodations and Modifications

Struggling with ways to get your students with special learning needs to be successful.  This powerpoint will explain the laws protecting students with disabilities including 504s and provide you with some specific ways to meet their needs.  The Grid of 9 is a great tool to help you with managing accommodations and modifications in a mixed abiltity classroom.
